The Award winning Alber Adventure is a modular power chair with independent four wheel spring suspension, designed for anyone who wants increased independance and a more active lifestyle. Durable, reliable and easily adjustable to the needs of most wheelchair users, the adventure is designed for use indoors, on or off road, infact just about anywhere. The driving force behind the Adventure is powerful and reliable electric wheel hub motors which use less energy and give up to 45% more range than conventional motors. Depending on the terrain and other factors, you can go up to 30miles without recharging. And, thanks to an innovative regenrative braking system, energy is put back into the Adventures compact, manageable batteries as travel downhill, increasing the range still further. Because of it's unique, lightweight aluminium chassis the Adventure is happy to go further afield. Each of its four wheels has independent suspension, with extra long travel, ensuring stability, traction and comfort even on rough ground and maximising driving comfort on uneven surfaces such as cobbles, broken pavements and potholes. The achieve optimum vibration damping and stability, the chassis and suspension can be easily adjusted to the user's weight. Under normal urban conditions, and when overcoming everday obstructions, the adventures undercarriage comes into its own, coping with kerbs of up to 7cm (12cm with optional kerb climber) and long suspension travel giving increased traction and stability on sloping uneven ground. Away from normal road surfaces the generous ground clearence allows more challenging terrain to be tackled safely and securely. A new, all terrain tyre was developed especially for the Adventure to give a smoother ride and easy rotation on smooth surfaces. The raised centre provides smooth running and ease of manoeuvring on level surfaces while the unique shoulder tread profile gives enhanced grip on soft surfaces and gives good all round traction for safe travel across the roughest ground. pack up and go. All main components such as wheels, seat
and battery packs can be easily removed from the chassis
without the need of tools, then packed and transported in

| The handlebar tilt is infinitely
adjustable and can be adapted perfectly to the height of
the carer. With a single-hand combination control switch,
all functions are easy to see and are controlled with a
handy easy grip rotary switch. Modular in design and weighing only 18.5kg, the lightweight battery, handlebar and control unit are quickly detachable, making it easy to transport and easy to service. In a matter of seconds Viamobil eco dismantles into 3 handy parts (as shown above) without tools and easily fits any car boot or luggage compartment. Viamobil eco fits most standard wheelchairs and, thanks to its well designed coupling system, can be attached easily to the wheelchair without the need for tools. Simply push the viamobil eco into the mounting brackets at the rear of the chair, lock it into place and you're read to go - up to 12km at a top speed of 6km/h on a full battery. The viamobil eco also makes light work of gradients up to 10%, up or down, even carrying its maximum user weight of 120kg. |

Quix
add-on tiller Powerdrive Quix gives you two wheelchairs in one. You can steer it like a powered scooter or raise the drive wheels with the aid of a small electric motor and propel your wheelchair by hand in the normal way. The tiller can also be easily removed, making it simple to get in and out of your wheelchair. Quix can be quickly dismantled and is very easy to transport in a car. The heaviest part weighs only 39lb. When you get to your destination Quix can be reassembled and simply docked with your wheelchair so you're ready to set off again in no time. Designed for indoor and urban use, where there are surfaced paths and pavements, Quix lets you get out more easily; to meet up with friend and family and still maintain your independence. Indoors, Quix moves swiftly and turns on the spot, making manouvering childs play, especially in confined spaces such as kitchens and bathrooms. Outdoors, depending on user weight (to a maximum of around 20stone) and driving conditions. Quix will carry you up to 9 miles on a single charge at a top speed of 3.7mph and will take gentle slopes in its stride. |
